Q. Who is Homelement?

A. Homelement Stores, Inc. is an online destination for home furnishings. We offer select brands directly through our store and also provide curated comparisons across a wider range of products available through trusted retail partners.

We are currently refreshing and expanding the Homelement website, with new products, brands, and buying guides being added on an ongoing basis.

Q. Why do some products link to other websites?

A. In addition to the products and brands we sell directly, we also work with select retail partners to help customers compare more options. For these items, you may be directed to a partner website to complete your purchase.

Q. Is everything on your website sold directly by Homelement?

A. No. Some products are sold directly by Homelement, while others are recommendations or partner listings. Each product page will indicate whether the item is available directly from Homelement or through a partner retailer.

Q. How do I contact Homelement if I have a question?

Ordering Information

Q. What if I don't want to place my order online, can I place an order over the phone?

A. For products sold directly by Homelement, a Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you in placing your order by phone. Simply contact our customer service department at 732-698-9221.

For products offered through our partner retailers, orders are completed directly on the partner’s website.

Q. How do I know you received my order?

A. For products purchased directly from Homelement, you will receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes of placing your order. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact us to confirm your order.

For purchases made through partner retailers, you will receive confirmation directly from that retailer.


Payment Information

Q. In which states do you charge sales tax?

A. For orders placed directly with Homelement, applicable sales tax will be calculated during checkout based on the order and shipping location.

For purchases made through partner retailers, sales tax is handled directly by the partner retailer.

Q. Who handles payment, shipping, and returns for partner products?

A. For products purchased through our partner retailers, payment, shipping, delivery, returns, cancellations, and customer service are handled directly by the partner. Please refer to the partner’s website for their specific policies and order details.

Q. What will it cost to ship my item?

A. Shipping costs for products sold directly by Homelement will be shown during checkout or provided before your order is finalized. For partner products, shipping costs are determined by the partner retailer.


Shipping & Delivery Information

Note: The shipping and delivery information below applies to products sold directly by Homelement. For items purchased through partner retailers, shipping methods and delivery timelines will vary based on the partner.

Q. How will my order ship?

A. For products sold directly by Homelement, items may ship by parcel carrier or by truck freight/common carrier depending on the size and weight of the item.

Standard Shipping: Parcel Services
The selected parcel service, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS, delivers your merchandise to your home or place of business. This service has weight and size restrictions, so not all furniture items can ship this way.

Standard Shipping: Truck Freight/Common Carrier
Many furniture items are too large or heavy for regular parcel services. A trucking company, also known as a common carrier, may be used for delivery. Freight deliveries are generally curbside only and are typically scheduled during business hours, Monday through Friday. Please make sure you have adequate help to move the furniture inside.

Q. Do you offer White Glove or Inside delivery?

A. Unless otherwise stated, Homelement’s standard delivery is curbside delivery. Set up of new furniture, inside placement, removal of packaging, and removal of old furniture are not included.

Q. How can I track my order?

A. For products purchased directly from Homelement, we will email tracking information once your order has shipped. For products purchased through partner retailers, tracking information will be provided by the partner retailer.

Q. When will I receive my order?

A. Delivery times vary based on the product, warehouse location, carrier, and destination. For products sold directly by Homelement, we will provide available shipping information after your order is placed or before the order is finalized when possible. For partner products, delivery timing is determined by the partner retailer.

Q. How do I schedule my delivery?

A. For truck freight deliveries arranged by Homelement, the carrier will typically contact you to schedule a delivery window. Delivery appointments are generally scheduled Monday through Friday during business hours. Please note that appointment windows are estimates and may vary by carrier.

Q. What if I live outside the continental USA, can you ship to me?

A. For products sold directly by Homelement, we currently focus on shipments within the 48 contiguous United States. For partner products, shipping availability is determined by the partner retailer.


Damage Information

Q. What happens in the unlikely event my product is damaged?

A. For products purchased directly from Homelement, please inspect your shipment at delivery. If the carton appears damaged, note the damage on the Proof of Delivery form before accepting the shipment. If there is significant damage, refuse the damaged carton only and notify us as soon as possible at 732-698-9221 or customerservice@homelement.com.

For products purchased through partner retailers, damage claims must be handled directly with the partner retailer according to their policy.


Policy Information

Q. What is Homelement's Warranty Policy?

A. Products sold directly by Homelement are brand new and carry the applicable manufacturer's warranty. Manufacturer warranties are generally limited and may not cover normal wear and tear. Please report any defect or issue within 3 days of receiving the furniture.

For partner products, warranty coverage and claim handling are determined by the partner retailer or manufacturer.

Q. What is Homelement's return and refund policy?

A. For products sold directly by Homelement, returns and cancellations may be subject to freight charges, handling fees, and manufacturer restocking fees once the merchandise has shipped from the warehouse. Ready-to-assemble furniture may not be returnable.

For products purchased through partner retailers, returns and refunds are handled directly by the partner retailer according to their policy.

Q. What is Homelement's cancellation policy?

A. For orders placed directly with Homelement, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or make changes. If we are able to cancel the order before it is processed by the warehouse, there may not be a cancellation charge. If the order has already been processed or shipped, restocking fees, freight charges, or handling fees may apply.

For partner products, cancellations are handled directly by the partner retailer.

Q. What exactly comes with my items?

A. Please review the product details carefully before placing an order or clicking through to a partner retailer. Product inclusions, dimensions, finishes, and accessories may vary by manufacturer and retailer.

Q. Is the color or finish I see on my screen accurate?

A. We make every effort to display product colors and finishes as accurately as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your screen, display settings, lighting, and manufacturer photography.

Q. Will my product require assembly?

A. Assembly requirements vary by item and manufacturer. Please review the product details carefully. Some furniture may arrive fully assembled, while other items may require partial or full assembly.

Q. Do you have a showroom or do you know where I can see the furniture in person?

A. Homelement is an online-only furniture destination and does not operate a physical showroom. For partner products, please check with the partner retailer or manufacturer for any available showroom or local display information.
