For those seeking to be a little “green”, look for curtains made from hemp or innovative honeycomb shades, which can reduce the amount of the heating bill. Honeycomb shades, which have the subtle shape of its namesake, actually prevents some of the wind and cold from entering the home.
Modern innovations have also found its way into the industry by way of anti-fungal and anti-microbial materials actually woven into the fabrics or available as a spray.
