Unique Headboards

Marsilya Headboard by Istikbal-Sunset

Let’s face it, it’s not as though the bed needs any more incentives to be more enticing than it already is. After all, it is where good night’s sleep, quick naps and other activities take place.

Outfitting the bed with high-thread count sheets, mattress pads or even investing in a new-age mattress like memory foam, etc. is great as far as practicality goes.

From a design standpoint though, the bed is the often neglected focal point of the room.

For those whom may not have a large, four-post bed, a princess bed with drapery or another substantial form of bedding, there is often a  large opening at the head of the bead waiting to be taken advantage of.

Sure, you could install a boring, typical headboard from the furniture company down the road. For all the time we spend in our bedrooms, however, it would make more sense to fill that space with something unique and striking. Fill it with something outside of the ordinary, something that will add continued interest to the space for years to come.

The Marsilya Headboard by Istikbal-Sunset certainly fits the bill as a headboard that will add depth and texture to any bedroom. If you’re looking for something truly out of the ordinary, however, consider some of the unique headboards we’re going to cover in the next installment of Unique Headboards.
