Bathroom Storage Ideas – Part 2

Dutton Space Saver Toilet Cabinet by Hillsdale

As we accumulate supplies, materials and other items over time, it can quickly feel like our bathrooms are too small.

This is the second installment of our series on bathroom storage ideas.

The first ‘Bathroom Storage Ideas‘ showed how tower-style storage cabinets on either side of a pedestal will improve the symmetry and balance of the room.

Here are a couple more bathroom storage ideas for you to try:

An Old Coat Rack

An old coat rack with a little bit of wear (let’s look it as “character”) could easily be transformed into a rack perfect for hanging towels and bathrobes to dry.

For an updated feel, refinish the rack to match the decor of your bathroom. Changing out or adding new hooks (readily found at a hardware store) can truly modernize the piece.

The key here is to make it a unique, but fitting addition to the space. All of which can be done for only a few dollars.

Use the Walls

Another handy storage option for the bathroom is to take advantage of a blank wall. Use two hooks to hang a basket or caddy by a sturdy strap. This will keep certain toiletries or spa items in a convenient space, ready for whenever you need them.
