It is very sturdy, and wasn't too difficult to assemble. The whiteboard is very poor quality - it has small bumps and dents on it. My only other complaint: I have a laptop that I don't want to have to keep closing up so I don't use the keyboard tray. But when the laptop is in the upper cabinet, I can't type because the 2 magnets that hold the door shut are right in the middle. I don't know that there would be a better place for the magnets, though. Just something to think about if you're using a laptop.
