Shopped around for several years to furnish our library.
Compared to others the price is great.
These are modular, get as many pieces as you want and bolt together, we added another bookcase to this combo giving us a 12ft wall of bookcases, also added the ladder.
These will fit under 8ft ceilings, but must be tilted the right way (doors towards the floor-secure doors with rubber band to stop them flying open)
The lights are enough to find a book by.
Another tip, work out your power supply before installing-we used extension cables to plug in the lights.
If the top is going to be visible, be advised it it unfinished/open.
Really pleased with these.
Also, the door panels (if you don't like the nail heads etc, are removable and reverse onto plain wood-same for the Da Vinci if you don't like the black)
