I wish I had known that it really doesn't seat 6 people. I love the table-- great color and very solid, but you cannot fit 6 chairs at the table without people hitting their legs on the trestles. Very disappointing. If you want a table for 4, this is a great table. Otherwise, don't buy it!

THe chairs and table look good. You really can't put six chairs under the table. You have to place them somewhat separate from the table because of the wood pieces that support the table. Also, the table gets very easily marked and scratched. That is a big concern of mine. I just put it together yesterday and it got scratched and marked by plates placed on top of it. I hope there is something that will help with the marks.
