Very heavy, sturdy dining set. Chairs are comfortable. Ample room for 8 people, however, we are unable to push all eight chairs under the table which is a drawback is a tight space. We bought 6 chairs and 1 bench. I plan to buy two more chairs and remove the bench - it is too heavy.
