The Grid bed is an über industrial design that would fit in with todays urban aesthetic. The 52 headboard and 32 footboard are comprised of mesh-like strips fabricated into a basket-weave design set into a square-tube frame. The Iron finish is a metallic, medium-grey powder-coat paint color reminiscent of raw metal and machinery. Just got this bed. It is a lot darker (like a dull gun metal gray) than what was pictured but otherwise seems ok.
