No, I would not recommend this to a friend
We love this mirror, HOWEVER, after having it hang on the wall for about 2-3 months, it spontaneously developed a crack across the mirror.
Nothing happened to this mirror--it truly was just hanging on the wall and it cracked. There was not change of temperature, not banging around the house....nothing. So needless to say, I'm not pleased at all with this mirror!

I SAW THIS ON THE WEB AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT, I CHECKED PRICE AND AVAILABILITY --HOME ELEMENT HAD THE ABSOLUTE BEST PRICE AND [...].IT IS A GORGEOUS DESIGN AND THE FRAME IS A BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND QUALITY--I WOULD DEFINITELY DO MORE BUSINESS WITH HOME ELEMENTS. THIS ITEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRICED WELL OVER $700.00 DOLLARS FOR THE QUALITY.
