Thank you for visiting Homelement.com. With more than a
dozen of years of experience in the furniture industry, we just recently expand
our service to include the online store in the beginning of 2003. Our mission
is to offer the simplest way to shop furniture in the comfort of your home.
With simply a few clicks, you?ll have your new furniture delivered to you in no
time.

How much do I pay for shipping?
We offer FREE Standard Shipping for any orders over
$899. Anything less than $899, the shipping fee is FLAT $75.
We also carry many products with no minimum FREE Standard Shipping, simply look for the Free Shipping or the yellow truck sign. Note that the products with no minimum free shipping do not qualify for $899 amount for the free shipping promotion.
Do I need to pay sales tax?
You only need to pay sales tax if you are shipping the products to New Jersey
How do I place an order?
We want you to feel comfortable placing your order. You can
use our secure online ordering system or simply call us during regular business
hours. You are also welcome to fax or mail your order to us.

How do I know that my order has been received and that it is correct?
We will confirm your order by e-mail. Please carefully check
that all of the information on the order is correct including shipping address,
phone number, products ordered, quantities, and sizes of all of the items. If
there are any errors, please notify us immediately.
Can I cancel my order?
If we are able to cancel your order before it is processed by our warehouses (normally within 24 hours from the time you ordered), there is not a charge for the cancellation. Otherwise 15% restocking fee will apply. Therefore,
if you need to make any changes to your order, please contact us as soon as
possible at 1-800-996-8221. If the order has been shipped out from our warehouse, please see our return policy.
How will my order ship?
All our items, including large furniture units, are
specifically packed for shipment to your home or business address in
double-bonded secure shipping containers and are guaranteed to arrive in first
class condition. All shipments are fully insured.
Parcel Services
The selected parcel service (UPS, DHL, FedEx, or USPS)
delivers your merchandise to your home or place of business and places it at
the front area of your workplace or front door of your home. This service has
weight and cube restrictions and not all of our items can move in this manner.
Truck Freight/Common Carrier
Most of the furniture we sell are simply too big or too
heavy for a regular Parcel Services to handle. A trucking company (or commonly
known as a common carrier) is the delivery method of choice for the furniture
industry. The carriers will only unload the furniture to the curbside. They
will only deliver during business hours between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday by
appointment. Please make sure that you have adequate help to move the
furniture. For additional fee, you can ask the common carrier to perform
extra services such as bringing your furniture inside your house or garage.
Please note that these common carriers will not do any unpacking or assembly.
Please arrange for this special service when the carrier company is scheduling
the appointment.
White Glove Delivery
White glove delivery is an extra service that will deliver and
set up your new furniture for you. This service is available for an additional
fee on most occasions. Please contact us for details.
When can I expect delivery?
You will be contacted shortly after placing your order with
shipping information specific to your order and to schedule your delivery if
applicable. Some of the products are available for next day shipment and we strive to have your order shipped between 1-2 weeks from the
warehouse. Occasionally, certain items (invariably the one you wanted most)
sell out of stock and become back ordered. Shipping times vary depending on the
manufacturer and your proximity to the warehouse. For items that are out of
stock, we would let you know the approximate date when the items would be
delivered. Please add about 1 week of transit time once your order leaves the
warehouse Please note that this is only a guide, we cannot guarantee these
times! Call to get the lead times on the products you are considering. At this
time, we can only ship orders to 48 United States. We are sorry that we are not
able to ship to Hawaii or Alaska at this time.
What if my furniture arrives damaged?
Please be sure to inspect the cartons (packaging) of your
new furniture upon delivery of your order. If you notice any slight damage to
the packaging that you think might not affect the furniture, please mark it in
the receipt or bill of lading with a clear description of the nature of the
damage. If the cartons are severely damaged, please refuse the shipment and
make a notation on the freight bill that there were visible damages. Please notify us immediately at 1-800-996-8221. Your
signature on the receipt is your acknowledgement that your merchandise is
satisfactory and delivered as ordered. In the event that you order arrives
damaged or if you have any concerns regarding any aspects of the delivery,
please contact us immediately for on-site resolution.
What is your return policy?
We are sorry that we cannot issue a refund for cancellation or return once the merchandise is shipped from the warehouse. If shipment is refused without prior authorization, you will be responsible for both inbound and outbound freights and any handling fees involved. Aside from the shipping and handling charges, depending on the condition of the return items, you will be charged no less than 15% of the purchase price.
Is the color that I see on my screen accurate?
All photos on our website have been color matched with the
actual product. How these photos display on any individual monitor and output
from any printer can vary widely based on the different settings and external
conditions. Regard any color printout as merely a color estimate rather than a
true color match.
Does your product require assembly?
Most of our furniture are completely assembled and usually
only require minor and easy assembly. All screws and other hardware are
included in the boxes along with detailed instructions on how to assemble the
piece.
